Progress Meetings and Sub Team Formation
Throughout the project, meetings were set up every two weeks with our supervisor to update him on the progress of the project. This offered the group the opportunity to discuss any successes, and current challenges being faced within the project. This allowed us to develop through these challenges with his support. It also allowed us to gain some important components for the PV system including the 6008, hot wire anemometer and thermal comfort kit. Full details of the progress meetings can be found within the meeting minutes which can be downloaded here.

Sub Team Formation
In order to work efficiently and effectively during the project, sub teams were generated on a number of occasions to allow smaller groups to work concurrently. This was best seen during the modelling phase of the project where the group was split into a CFD modelling team and an energy modelling team. The group worked with the structure of having a whole group meeting on Monday where weekend work could be discussed along with the goals for the week. Each sub team would then work separetly on their respective task during the Wednesday meeting. On Friday, the whole group would then meet again to discuss what they achieved over the week and discuss any work to be done before the Monday meeting again. Overall we found that this tactic was very effective and allowed the group to spread resources to various aspects of the project and was subsequently used throughout the project. Other examples of this included the building and control system sub teams, adopted in the build phase, or the experimental and report/website sub teams used during the experimental phase.
